1967 Camaro Facts
-
The quickest way to identify a '67 Camaro is the "smoker's window".
Those fold-out side windows were discontinued in 1968 and 1969. Another
distinguishing feature of a '67 vs. a '68 (because they are the most similar
of the 1st gens), is the lack of a turn signal lamp between the front wheel
well and bumper. In '68 the side turn lamp was added.
-
Based on raw production numbers, the most common appearance for the Camaro
was the base appearance.
This came with both the 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder engine options and there
were about 120,000 produced.
